Alot has been going on ...in the span of only 2 months give or take I have a bunch of new paintings/Drawings for sale as well as alot of new beautiful memories from dancing at events , emceeing at union square in NYC , meeting new people and trying new things ...

I have a few things I am organizing coming up so here is the rundown:

last friday hosted a Freestyle cypher at union square it was insane had the most random , lyrical cypher ..were going to do another cypher at Union Square this upcoming Friday thats December 30th 8 pm - till - open to anyone.. please bring your friends , bring your radios or bring a beatboxer..bring lyrical skill..and bring a friendly vibe...WE WANT TO HAVE CYPHERS NON STOP ALL YEAR ...LOCATIONS DUE TO CHANGE IF IT GETS TOO COLD..WE MIGHT DO A CYPHER IN A SUBWAY STATION HAHA..KEEP IT RAW ...why so late? well people work and stuff... if I get alot of request to host cyphers earlier then I will personally be there early to rock with anyone who wants...

This below is a flyer for the next Kids Of Ny Jam it is the first jam series I was introduced to back in 2008..since then I have helped the organizer Anthony Colon bring the Graffiti element more into the jams and have been appointed The Art director...so this is open to anyone who is a Bboy or Bgirl , beatboxer ,deejay , emcee, even if your a Graff writer bring a blackbook or sketchbook and some markers...This is purely organized by Anthony Colon and a few friends who care and avidly support like myself , KEV SKI ,King Uprock etc ..if you would love to help with future events please contact him ...im sure he would accept any help he can receive from food like chips/ hotdogs to feed the kids - help setting up - help getting bigger .better , diverse venues across different communities in NYC...Anthony Colon is the DJ for the event and also a Martial Arts Instructor and teaches youth if you may be interested in hiring him or something.... MOST IMPORTANTLY IF YOU KNOW KIDS WHO WANT TO LEARN ABOUT REAL HIP HOP BRING THEM OUT TO THIS IT IS WORTH THE TRIP ...

for all graffiti writers who want to come support please dont tag up the location because then we cant do positive things like this for the youth in NYC plus its a sad fact that the Authorities love to see communities and people that cant come together for anything because it puts dinner on their tables they would rather than us organize Hip Hop events to revel in watching our people facilitate Gang riots....please support and invite any photographers/ Journalist or press you may know THIS IS A VERY POSITIVE THING FOR THE COMMUNITY AND NEEDS MORE AWARENESS...

words cant begin to describe my life..the HIP HOP scene and global scene across the world at the moment since my last post , but I must describe some stuff haha...

This past month of November I won 1st place in the Graffiti blackbook battle at the Zulu Nation Anniversary pic below is from that of myself the 2nd place winner and 2 of the judges NIC ONE and JAMES TOP...

Ive noticed alot of social change in the globe and on a personal level I have even to an extent been leaning to the talk of the times so to say...Ive been doing alot of social artwork...and in my music have started touching these taboo topics...going on the forefront of the revolutionary cause and HEAD CLASHING with a system we are all under...aside from that I took November to pay my respect to the Native Tribes that were killed by the European disease and greed when he first encountered the new world ..many people dont know but should acknowledge the fact that thanksgiving was originally a feast celebrating the genocide of the Native people of America , but given that knowledge we should be more thankful for our family and life with each new day because with all of our faults it can easily become drastically worse in an instant so be grateful and learn from human history dont lie and sugarcoat the history teach the true information to your community...

HEADKLASH was created by Cuebec Dillon, also known as ill Q Nitty from the infamous rap group THE CUTTHROATS. The group had one of the most memorable songs titled “STOP LOOKING AT ME” featuring the late Guru from Gangstarr on the classic, platinum selling Menace II Society movie soundtrack. Excluding all of the trials and tribulations, where a book would be in order leading up to the birth of HEADKLASH, a frame of time that ultimately included the tragic and untimely death of one of the members of the group. The core roots of the HEADKLASH movement were planted back in 2003 with the release of the self-titled song HEADKLASH, when Cue (short for Cuebec) was a managing Partner of the now defunct independent Wizzad Entertainment. Along with Cue, the track featured four other local artists, who were friends from other neighborhoods in queens and visiting family who lived in other countries. Each individual possessing a different style, such as chanting and deejaying which is a form of singing and rapping in the west-indies. The track had an infinite universal sound and message. The message is clear that we all share the same values and aspirations regardless where you’re from.

MASTERNEVER AT NYC COMIC CON - CHIEF69 ADVENTURES

This Past week I was glad to Be a part of Comic Con NY it was a great event with all sorts of cool Artwork......Beautiful , Creative and Crazy People parading in Costumes and Last but not Least a Nice Weekend to get out and about in the city. I along with The MASTER NEVER team were at a booth in aisle 3000 with A Great Preview Comic for sale with signings by the Writer ..The Editer..and Myself . Though I was only at Comic con for the weekend I had a great time for my first experience of the event I got to network and even had a playful and spontaneous rap battle for giggles ..

yesterday I was at the long awaited TBB ( The Bronx Boys ) 36th Anniversary for the 2nd time and got to meet Hip Hop brothers and sisters from across the globe I was also appointed the TBB Bronx Prez... This is a huge honor for myself to embark on and I wont let down the people who live and die everyday for the True Expressions and Creative consciousness we call Hip Hop...in the near future I plan on doing more Hip Hop events but even more Community events like food drives and Youth Workshops...

Each day you breath you have a fresh start...a new chance to make someones life more positive...a new day to keep a child or teenager out of trouble..a new day to teach and spread the knowledge of your passions....LIVE AS IF EACH DAY WILL BE YOUR LAST AND LOVE EVERYONE......

I have alot going on recently from music videos , promotional videos , photoshoots etc..to the very boring sitting around and painting on a canvas haha...coming up OCTOBER 7th a Friday evening from 4- 8 pm FREEEEEEEEEE will be my 1st solo Art exhibition self curated with all the thanks to Project Reach . In the past I have curated a number of group shows but this is special because it will be the first time of mostly just my work ..I will also have a wall with my fathers work on display whom which without his talent I would probably be less artistic so to speak..anyway please come out for a night of positive vibes..good affordable artwork and more...there will be limited edition merchandise for sale , possibly a guest book reading , and a Q & A will be open to everyone at the end with myself but of course if you have any questions feel free to just ask me anyway or email me

Bboy Rekonize of my crew won the cypher battles and my Bboy friends from The Door ( thedoor.org ) Full Circle Cadets won the 3 vs 3s with an amazing final round....

Clash Of Da Titans 2 - The Aftermath...

I want to thank everyone who came out to see the art and to partake in the Bboying for Clash Of Da Titans 2 ...also a big thanks to the location Project Reach for whom which the event would have been impossible to pull off without.

last friday was the closing reception and Bboy event for the Clash Of Da Titans 2 exhibition and I am pleased to say that on friday as well as for the opening reception it went amazingly well there was beautiful artwork on display as well as tremendiously talented dancers displaying thier talent to the hip hop music being played. For the opening reception Dj Amore of Wots crew spun and for the closing Dj Rich of Innacityarts ( Squint unfourtonatly couldnt make it.)

Finally without any Further stalling on my behalf I am proud to present along with FRC aka Floor Royalty Crew ,the Under Ground section Radio Show for the college of Mount Saint Vincent .....( drum roll....)
" Mount Dance Jam"
which is the first time is the history of the school a local Hip Hop Advocate
(Myself) has teamed up with the school itself to display to the student body and others outside the school the raw true..underground essence of the culture of Hip Hop.
On location for this event there will be multiple Bboy battles in particular the highlight of the night is to be the 5 vs 5 BRONX vs QUEENS crew battle...Graffiti Artwork on canvas for sale..many all under $100...( a good holiday gift perhaps for a loved one)
and other elements such as Beatboxing and Emceeing will all be alive and thriving in the house....here is the flyer below...

I have recently gone into the lab and started working on what is to be my 1st official CD ....For those of you who may not know besides Bboying and doing Artwork I have always been an emcee the CD is going to be a very exciting and fresh thing for both the local Hip Hop community of NYC and all of you out there who love real Hip Hop culture as much as I do myself

I have done a few collaborations and worked with a few producers as well as produced a few beats myself for the CD it will be available online to buy as well as in person and you can always email me and request to purchase it individually. for everyone who buys a CHIEF69 cd you will receive with the CD an original piece of Artwork on small paper that you can frame or whatever floats your boat..
I plan on releasing the CD as soon as I finish enough tracks and feel content with the quality of music ..until then please be on the look out you may catch me on one of your favorite local musicians tracks...

This is an original Poem of mine entitled "A Retrospective of Summer"

Im a righteous funky soulful top to bottom def -fly-stand up guy- kind of brother...word to the mother...
Hip Hop to my casket and breaks on loop..till im chief 6 feet deep - 9 millimeter thoughts pack shells of positivity and manners that mommy taught ..good son , good friend , good vibe where I walk..

Its the Yellow sunshine it must be in the cause for sway and I'm severed before the morgue like a newborn I lay..defenseless to rhythm and senseless seance , in a trance with my shadows reflection I was brung to the floor in a zulu spin brung to the floor like rejection ..Stop being Flat handed..stop and follow directions..word from the wize and tales from the crypt..did i slip..or slip up it seems i may have loss my self grip...uncontainable addiction my dose from a speaker drum....I was there..I was there..where it started in the slums...

I remember memories in flashes like a cinematic technique..now its done ...too soon over..more over often bleak and the winter wind willows I freeze as I sleep..untill next year..next jam..next week....well speak....

The inspiration was me looking at the photo below by Brina Martinez realizing what A Great Summer I just experienced...

This past weekend I had such a blast from the gallery show at soapstone gallery to the street fair on mckibbin st but this just so happens to be the 1st picthures I was fourtonately able to get hold of ... I was doing Body Painting at Trio Lounge in Brooklyn from about 12-4 am ,during the party I must have painted literaly everyone accept the djs and bar staff,and at a few moments I had lines of people patiently waiting to be painted on..And Of course without a doubt myself and Bboy Nebula were in the house so we did our thang and rocked the floor for a quick minute but I dont have any clear video or pics of it haha..I want to thank Team Rico ,Trio Lounge,and all of the people who came out to party

This Friday the 13th at Club SANM at 3515 36th ave in astoria queens from 7pm-2am is the Bboy Massacre jam organized by Kid Glyde of the Dynamic Rockers And I will be painting live during the event then give the canvas I complete to the winner of the main battle of the night....

Then later this month on August 28th from 3-5pm I will be at the Brooklyn street fair on mckibbin st doing Body Art- $15 per person

Starting at 11pm located at Trio Lounge on 308 hooper st in Brooklyn via j line...I will be Doing Body Art all night..ladies free untill 12 pm

and last but not least the following Event is the grand opening reception at the Soapstone gallery located on 11 w36th st 5th floor for the Across The Board show for autism awareness a portion of proceeds go to autism aware ness and the rest to the artist..featuring over 30 artist including myselfs original work on skateboard decks...

The New Era Has Begun

Alot has gone on since the last time Ive posted here the crotona park jams have been very fun and refreshing along with all of the other great things popping up this summer in NYC...Id like to 1st announce that I have just got down with the legendary TBB aka The Bronx Boys rocking crew...they are one of the earliest crews in Hip Hop history to help set the foundation for Bboying as we know it with many legendary members,affiliates and offsping in the sense of those who received the torch of traditions to carry on.... on another exciting note this past weekend on saturday I was in attendance at spansh harlems own El Museo Del Barrio bboy competition for cash prize of $250 and title of "El Barrios Freshest" , none other than Dj DP-One was on the ones and twos plus a huge guest appearance of Bboy Neguin from Brazil put the rockers on thier toes...I entered the jam injured and unsuprisingly did not win lol.. with his acrobatic musicality Bboy Neguin was the winner but it was still a great day because when I left I got a Free T-shirt from the museum staff haha....check out the pics below from crotona park and The museum

On june 24th and june 25th 2010 I went out to see the legendary TATS CRU re-do the Big Pun mural on 163rd st and Rogers place in the bronx for the 10th anniversary since his passing in Feb 7th , 2000...if you dont know who Big Pun is he was basicaly the best Latino Emcee ever to go platnum and really reresent the Boricuas and the South Bronx communities ...he had an aura of him and his work that is still unmatched to this day...and TATS CRU legendary NYC graffiti muralist have been around since the late 1970s and have been associated with Big Pun and Terror Squad members for a long time so this is how they pay respect and make the neighborhood look a little more decent...I decided to dance somewhat and im rocking T shirts By Bronx Vibe which is an up and coming company which boast of Bronx Bravado in all of its forms through captivating imagry you can visit the web site here

Puerto Rican Festival june 12th 2010

June 12th I woke Up feeling all puertorican lol so I headed out to Spanish Harlem to Bboy and got there a little bit early so I helped set up for the Funktion Bboy jam that is thrown every year on the festival of the PR Parade and has been going on since around 2000...the Funktion jam is basicaly A free Bboy competition and they usualy have live art going on also and its right on lexington and 103rd in a school playground...I entered the jam my self and won my 1st battle against Bboy Rugrat suprisingly who is one of NYCs top Bboys...I later lost to Bboy main event in my second matchup but I still had a great time Doing a live art collaboration with NYC renound live artist Marthalicia. The winner of the bboy jam was Bboy Floor Phantom Of Ready To Rock and Zulu Kings.. below are some pics from the day

Every summer in NYC for the past 8 years there has been Free Hip Hop jams going on in the Parks..at these Tools Of War jams curated by Pop Master Fable (of legendary Bboy crew Rock Steady) and wife Christie Z-Pabon the community gets to experience the true essence of Hip Hop to the sounds of legendary Djs on the turntables and parks are filled with a feelgood vibe while local and international Bboys and Bgirls come out to strut thier style.... this video clip below is the first jam of this summer of 2010 ....I am CHIEF69 dancing in the video...

So I went to deliver a canvas for this fridays show and next thing I know Im painting the gate with 2esae ,Jesus saves , and Paz...it was also my first visit to Fresthetic which is a sort of clothing,graff supply,art gallery store in Brooklyn near Lorimer on the L train its dope yall should check it out if you can especialy this friday for the "AYO MY MAN CHILL " Art fundraiser for a really good cause...every couple months or so this gate in front of the shop will change up as well as the work sold in side...they also do screen printing , etc...

1 Hundred B got the artist together to do the gate , and they will also be at the show this friday

WE ARE F.R.C. (Floor Royalty Crew)... We do everything hip-hop and simply do our best to keep spreading the culture...we practice a lot,like almost everyday to the point where our bodies get sore [what b-boy/girl doesnt? we lay the crown on the ground from Brooklyn to the South Bronx we represent hip-hop!!...

Floor Royalty Crew aka F.R.C!! (ya tu sabe) is a HIP HOP ORGANIZATION that expresses itself throught the hip hop elementsand then some such as bboying,emceeing,scratching,beatboxing,graffiti,martial arts,parkour etc....we do a range of things from performing arts to custom apparal design and murals etc...

F.R.C was founded by leader cacique/bboy chief/"chief69" in the later half of his 2007 school year at arts and technology high school with the influence and determination of only then members bboy jamrock,jia(the mentor),bboy twiss,and (x-member)benny
about a year later member zenaku started a spark to what became the flame that is now..he introduced the crew to new ppl and opened doors that wouldhave still been closed had F.R.C still been bboying and free running in the school only
weve come far and everyday we get more fame when we attend bboy events,recruit more,and keep expressing true school hip hop in all of its forms

for now we got shirts for sale one for $ 10 two for $16...all proceds help us get batteries for the boombox,bboy outfits and funding for renting space for practice or jams
any upcoming events that my dance crew can perform in or teach children how to brekdance etc..( paid gigs would be appreciated but well volunteer also),I be glad to participate or perform somehow in any of your events.or venues in the NYC or TRI-STATE area

we do all sorts of performances ie..bday parties(for children),social gatherings,school performances throughout nyc,we have done the NYC dance parade ,music videos etc...
